OBJECTIVES
General Objectives:
  • developing and implementing new biocidal products based on natural extracts and / or chemicals with low environmental impact
  • developing and creating mechanisms to implement clean technologies for obtaining and implementing them
  • using of new biocidal compositions for the integrated preservation of cultural and architectural heritage of Sibiu
Specific objectives:
  • fundamenting of the innovative strategy for integrated conservation of the cultural architectural heritage of Sibiu based on assessing of biodegradation degree and on identifying macro-and micro-organisms responsible
  • assessing the main existing methods and techniques for prevention and control of biodeterioration of the architectural heritage
  • Creating and combating original compositions based on biologically active natural extracts and / or chemicals for controling the organisms responsible with the biodegradation of the immobile cultural heritage
  • Developing laboratory technologies for obtaining and characterization of biologically active extract
  • Developing laboratory technologies to obtain and apply the ecological biocidal compositions
  • To demonstrate the functionality of technical solutions by performing a practical intervention for integrated conservation of architectural cultural heritage in SIBIU
