ACTION 3. EVALUATION OF TECHNOLOGICAL SOLUTIONS OBTAINED IN LABORATORY SCALE FOR CO2 MITIGATION BY CONTROLLED ALGAL PHOTOSYNTHESIS

  • Report on conceptualized process of greenhouse gases mitigation by controlled algal photosynthesis within demonstrative plant
  • Report on functional specifications requirements and elaboration of design theme:
  • Report on Life-Cycle Assessment for biofuel production from microalgae in comparison to other bioenergy feedstock

ACTION 4 DEVELOPMENT OF DOCUMENTATION TO IMPLEMENT DEMONSTRATIVE PLANT AT SC ELECTROCENTRALE SA – CET WEST - BUCHAREST

  • Report on technological design for CO2 capture and processing from the flue gases of thermoelectric power plant. Assessment of CO2 capture and processing plant layout solutions on the construction site, at Bucharest CET West.
  • Report on development of technological project for the system of flue gas emissions capture on CHP Bucharest West
  • Report on engineering design of the demonstrative plant "Integrated photosynthetic system" for CO2 sequestration from flue gases

ACTION 5: IMPLEMENTATION AND BUILDING OF DEMONSTRATIVE PLANT "INTEGRATED PHOTOSYNTHETIC SYSTEM" (DP-IPS) FOR CO2 SEQUESTRATION (work in progress)

  • Elaboration of procurement documentation for the component equipment of "Integrated photosynthetic system" and for the greenhouse-type building
  • Procurement procedures and concluding on contracts for equipment incorporated in "Integrated photosynthetic system" for works procurement and construction-assembling services
  • Construction and assembling activities of "Integrated photosynthetic system"
  • Plant commissioning, including technological tests, and validation of demonstrative plant and technology for CO2 capture from the flue gases
  • Developing of operating manual and personnel training
